We require notification via client portal message (most confidential),

email, or text message (least confidential) at least 24 hours before your appointment time,

otherwise, you will be charged the full session amount.

All information shared during sessions is completely confidential with certain exceptions. The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without explicit written permission via a release of information (ROI).

Exceptions to this protection include:

- Suspected child, dependent, elder, or spousal abuse, for which a psychotherapist is required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.

- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person, the psychotherapist must notify the police and inform the intended victim, based on the Tarasoff Law.

If a client intends to harm themselves, the psychotherapist will make every effort to gain their trust and cooperation to ensure their safety. If they do not cooperate, the psychotherapist will take further measures without their permission, which are provided to the psychotherapist by law, in order to ensure their safety.

Solace Château is private pay only and does not bill insurance; so we provide monthly Superbills for reimbursement from your health plan.

Insurance coverage depends on your specific policy, requires a diagnosis, and is not a guarantee of payment; so be advised that you may have a deductible or co-insurance that you are responsible for.Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefits plan.

Please check your insurance coverage carefully with the following:

- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

- What is my deductible/co-insurance and has it been met?

- Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Health insurance plans do not cover Couples/Marital Counseling.

Psychotherapy sessions range from $150 to $200 for individual and $180 to $240 for couples, based on chosen clinician.

Licensure supervision is $75 for individual and $45 for group.

Executive Coaching sessions are $200 an hour.

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for all fees at time of service. We require at least one form of active payment on file.

Appointments can be requested directly via our client portal.

You will know your appointment has been accepted or declined when you receive an email or text notification.

Sessions run for 55 minutes and can be up to 90 minutes, which is scheduled in advance.

All Couples/Marital sessions are scheduled for 90 minutes to give appropriate time for therapy needs.

We ask that if you will be late to your session, either message us in the client portal or

send a text to our office number 504-656-4284. Be advised that text message is not confidential.
